About Northwest Propane Gas Company
In 1946, Northwest Butane Gas Co. was created by J.B. Wood with a single butane delivery truck and a commitment to providing fuel to his community. To keep up with evolving customer needs, Northwest Butane Gas Co. made the switch to propane and became Northwest Propane Gas Company. This transition led to incredible growth, allowing for even more offerings outside of residential heating deliveries.
Today, Northwest Propane is still a family-owned and operated company, and the largest independent propane delivery and service fleet in North Texas. In recent years, we have brought Decatur Bowie Propane into the Northwest Propane family, providing a variety of residential, commercial, and wholesale services, each designed to meet our customers’ unique needs.
